OUR BEST PHOTOS OF YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
I rub my eyes and yawn, “way too early to be alive” I say to Daniel. It’s 3 degrees Celsius and every inch of glass around our campervan is covered in condensation. Clean, crisp air greets us as we step outside the van. I take a deep breath, throwing my arms above my head in a stretch. Birds are singing their favourite morning song whilst I struggle to wrap my mind around waking up before sunrise. I immediately jump back in the car and start warming up the engine.
We drive until the heater delivers enough air to stop my shivering and then Daniel stops. Silently cursing him, I completely forget the cold as I look to my left and see an incredible sight. A lone tree embracing sun rays as if they are giant arms delivering the warmest hug.
Our next few days in Yosemite deliver nothing short but awe-inspiring photo opportunities without busloads of people to disturb the tranquil environment. We enjoy our time together and outside with nature, just how it should be.
Love this post? Pin it now!
Your photos are so dreamy! When did you go to Yosemite? I have dying to go there, and it’s not too far of a drive from where we are in in Washington. We don’t want to go when there are lots of crowds though.
We just went to Yosemite Valley and only went to the areas accessible by car or by the free shuttle – just timing 🙂 We found October to be the perfect time. Hardly any crowds, a little cold (nice for hikes) and amaaaazing sunrises (clearly)!
Oh my god! Are all of these pics for real?! This place is so beautiful… I’ve always wanted to visit Yosemite because I watched so many documentaries about it…. well you just pushed me again to buy my flight tickets asap!
OMG these are some of the incredible captures! We are already awed by the national parks of US and these pictures are the reason. Loved the first picture of sunrise and wondering how awe-inspiring would have been the experience. Exploring wildlife and those stunning shots of nature is definitely an indelible experience to cherish for the life.
Oh wow! Yosemite is definitely on my list of places to visit especially after I watched a documentary about the people that climb up the sides of the mountains there! Totally awe inspiring!
Oh my, your photos are all incredibly stunning. Yosemite has always been a dream to visit it for me, however I haven’t been to the states yet so I didn’t go yet. But as soon as I make my way over there I will have to visit!
Your photos are absolutely stunning! You had so many opportunities to see the wildlife in Yosemite and the nature welcomes you with really beautiful light as well. Your photos made me want to visit Yosemite National Park.
Wow, these pics are indeed stunning and make me wanna visit Yosemite soon. I am not a fan of cold weather but it seems it was worth it. Thanks for sharing.
Yosemite is one of my favorite places. Your photos are stunning! Is that a bobcat in one of the photos? How lucky to get to see one.
Those photos alone are worth the cold weather! I love the deer photos. I’ve not been back to the states but I’d love to come here and take such great photos
Wow, it sounded cold when you were there. You were rewarded with some great photos, especially the 2 reflection photos, I love reflection photography. Great wildlife photography too, it’s images of this quality that make any trip worthwhile!
Awesome pics! Never been to US but hoping to go one day and this is now on the list too 🙂
Very beautiful pictures. In fact Yosemite and Yellowstone are the reasons I would like to visit the US.
Beautiful pictures! Yosemite looks so beautiful in autumn. Would love to visit in low season without the crowds!
